Texturing and more Textures~

Ahahaha... wait, there's no point of celebrating.

I should supposed to be going to Makati today to present my demo stills and resume at Enising Phils (a 3d company, a branch of Enising Jp.). That, until I noticed my recent portfolio which is full of 3d modeled and rendered stills... then, "Oh crap! I'm lacking texture stills!"

Thats when I decided I'll go on monday instead... since I haven't called Enising's CG Supervisor yet to confirm my arrival. So I shouldn't pass it today since what I'm really applying for is a position in the Textures Dep. (not UV Mapper, almost same line; but different work), 3d Modeling is just secondary in my case.

So currently I'm modeling some low-poly items, such as a Heckler & Koch MP5k, Steampunk Gas Pistol, an old vase and prolly if get totally inspired, a minamalist 2-storey house complete with textures.

So far here's the second project for my texture stills, the mp5k (its my airsoft sidearm):

it sports 1028 triangles, so it'll be easier to apply textures.

Anyhow, its back to the drawing board fer me~

Past Relationships Change You~

Today also marks my 1-Year of Bachelorhood~ after my previous relationship with Ms. Analyn Perez, my ex-girlfriend from college.

I'm glad that we broke up, if we didn't I couldn't have found my mistakes in life. The flaws within my attitude, being stubborn, blaming others for my problems, and of course not standing for my own and letting my parents decide for myself... those were a few of the mistakes I've committed from way back then.

Well, even if you're still angry with me from what happened last year... I thank you, if not I couldn't have changed to the man I am right now.

Good-bye April~

"April", my AGM M14 is now officially sold.

A few days ago, I told Paolo Banta (the owner of Tron's Airsoft Shop) that I'm currently selling my M14, because I'm already having a hard time maintaining the gun. Also another reason is maintaining my armory, so I'll have to stick with two guns.

Pao's eye grew large with my price... 1.5k, a real give away price. He also told me his uncle's looking for m14 parts, so ayun I've got an instant buyer.

Well walking back memory lane, "April's" originally not my airsoft rifle, her first owner was the guy who introduced me to the game, Giovan Paz... he then sold the rifle to me... that time the rifle was clocking 420fps... not until... her piston body broke... due to faulty gunsmithing by Paz's gunsmith. Paolo repaired the gun for me back then, just to find out there were no 420fps upgrades on the gun, and the power was only mustered by compressing the spring with five 10 centavo coins. Cruel right? Anyhow after repairs I haven't tackled any problem... but with the power of the rifle from 420fps, t'was down to 310fps... a real downer~ plus that problem also led to another, the rifle's hop-up seized to function, so with original range it was already flying upward when you fire a pellet.

But anyhow that's that...

Just this morning I had to wake-up early to get the payment from Pao's Shop... his uncle bought the gun last night.

So thats about it... "good bye april", hope you get to know your new owner... unless he decideds to part you into parts. ~_~

Growing waist line~

Yep that's right, just this afternoon I was about to go outside to get my
pictures taken... and sadly with my belly growing for the past few months, I've been having a hard time fitting my current stock of jeans, slacks and corduroys... only 1 or 2 had my current waistline, all the rest were 28's and 29's...

Need to jot that down, to buy a new closet full of lower garments... denims and others.

T'was about time I resurrected this blog... figuring out that my multiply wasn't meant to be used as a blog but just a mere storage for my online photos.

So what's new? What have I been doing for the past few months of my absence...

Well here I am still no stable job, after graduating college last year... I tried applying for graphic artist positions... well there was luck somehow, sadly... if you sticked to being a graphic artist... you'll only progress or be promoted to Senior Graphic Artist... crap ne? So Dad offered me to take a certificate course in 3D Animation (since prior to my first goal when I entered college was to be an Animator). Took me four months to finish that course and graduated last November 2nd week.

And ever since been doing freelance as a Photographer... while doing my revalida for my 3d animation course due this coming March.

Well I can't wait for March... so as of now I've been applying to different animation and gaming companies such as Toei Phils., Kuju Manila, Ladyluck, Enising and IAS Team Manila.

Aside from those I came back to playing video games to get inspiration... thats also the reason why I came back to playing Granado Espada... and real-life gaming with my Airsoft colleagues.

So what's next? Probably there will be news tomorrow...
